Motivational Monday: Monthly Goals

I don’t know about you, but some days I feel like I lack motivation to do anything. I feel like I am stuck in my daily grind and can’t get stuff done. Is any one else like this? I just assume everyone is Superman/woman. They go to work and then goes home, completes housework, cooking, going to the gym and also goes out on outings. And here I am on the struggle bus, going to work, hitting up the gym sometimes, knocking out an occasional chore then I try to get everything done on the weekend and then I feel like my weekend is gone. Supermen and Superwomen, tell me what are your secrets?

Anyways I am trying to be a more motivated adult and here are my monthly goals to keep myself accountable and hopefully sane.

  • Go to work everyday in March
  • Work out at least 3x a week
  • Prep lunch every night before work
  • Meditate for at least five minutes a day
  • Complete laundry during the week
  • Clean room during the week
  • Create a blog post at least once a week

I may add a few things, but I think this is a nice start. One day I promise myself I will be a fully functioning, motivated adult! I am also going to try and start really using my agenda, its by Sugar Paper, which can be found at Target!

We all try to do our best, but our best will change from day to day. It is my opinion that there are far too many people comparing themselves to others, jusdging them selves and judging others. Just do the best you can on any given day. For the record, I have a sink full of dishes and I’m not doing them. So there 🙂
